What is your current role, and your participation within the diversity and inclusion initiatives?
Sitting within our Group office HR division in Hong Kong, I am currently managing events and employee engagement. We offer inclusive programs around career development, physical & nutritional health, mental well-being and stress management. Beyond WiFA, one of my main initiatives for 2019 was sponsoring TEDxTinHau Women – an event which brings together a global community of people interested in exploring how change begins. It was wonderful to see our colleagues at the event engaging with HK D&I community, listening to the fantastic speakers and bringing back new and fresh ideas into our workplace.
Can you share one of your Firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Programs that resonates with the WiFA mission of empowering women in achieving their full professional potential?

In 2020 we have once again been listed as a constituent of the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index – one of only 325 companies that have been recognised for pushing boundaries and continuing the conversation around gender equality in the workplace.
Tell us one thing that is important for #CreatingTheWorkforceOfTheFuture
I think many organizations are building for future workplaces and one change of mindset that resonates is how we can recognize and facilitate healthy work / life integration. Living in an increasingly digital world means that work and life are integrated beyond a traditional daily work structure. I think it is important for business’s to create flexible workplaces which catering to personal needs.
What advice would you give to women who want to lead?
I truly feel that management and leadership are two different disciplines. Anyone can create an environment of leadership, there are people at the very bottom of the totem pole that are true leaders. Emergent leaders that take charge in the absence of orders and inspire those around them. I would advice to start small by inspiring and leading the people around you to innovate, change mindsets and live your purpose.
