Aoife McGillion is the co-chair of Women in Finance Asia and started her “WiFA” career in 2015 as the chair of the Social Media committee, working closely with the Education, Thought Leadership and Philanthropy committees. Aoife is the APAC head of Regulatory Relations for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, one of the founding members of Suits for Success and an active member of the City Mental Health Alliance HK (CMHA). She has a keen interest in all topics related to ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and physical & mental health.
At the weekend you can find Aoife at WiFA working brunches with Kate Reid, but also, mostly, at Hour of Power or on the hiking and running trails or generally exploring Hong Kong with her closest friends Alex, Amy, Celia and Diane.
Why WiFA? I was attracted to WiFA by the opportunity to do something totally different from my day job and stayed so long because the energy and enthusiasm of the people involved in this association is so addictive. Being co-chair gives my life a bit of balance and also allows me to meet the most fantastic people.
