With immense pride, we mark the 15th anniversary of Women in Finance Asia (WIFA). What began as a small network of like-minded professionals has blossomed into a dynamic community championing the advancement of women in the financial sector across Asia. This milestone is a testament to our collective efforts, dedication, and unwavering commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in finance.

Mentor Mentee Programme 2024

Looking ahead, we are thrilled to introduce the Mentor Mentee Programme 2024 this summer. This initiative connects emerging talent with seasoned professionals, promoting knowledge exchange, personal growth, and career development. Mentorship is at the heart of WIFA’s mission, and this programme will offer mentees invaluable guidance, support, and opportunities to excel. We encourage experienced members to volunteer as mentors and share their expertise with the next generation of leaders.

New Partnerships

We are excited to announce two significant partnerships that will further our

impact on the financial industry:

  1. U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong & Macau – Focused on advancing climate action in Asia through the Women Green the Way (WGTW) initiative.
  2. Women Workplace Index (WWi) – Working to change corporate attitudes towards gender equality throughout the financial sector.

WIFA is delighted to collaborate with these organisations to advance the next

generation of women leaders.

Year-End WIFA Awards

To celebrate our achievements, we are hosting the Year-End WIFA Awards at the end of November/ early December. The awards will recognise excellence in leadership, innovation, mentorship, and community impact. We invite all members to nominate deserving candidates and join us in celebrating the trailblazers shaping the future of finance.
